Ethiopia Konga
Flattop Coffee Roastery
Cupping Notes: Honey, Mandarin Orange, Meyer Lemon, Jasmine, Baked Sugar
This Yirga Cheffe coffee was produced by a small farm in the Buufata Konga region of Ethiopia. The beans were hand sorted multiple times during their journey from farm to roaster, making for a very uniform Grade 1 product. This uniformity aids in the roasting process by allowing for a very specific heat profile that is consistent across the beans. The result is a coffee that produces peach and nectarine fragrance notes as well as floral and jasmine aromas. The flavor is delicate, clean, and complex with sweet citrus, honey, raw ginger, and baked sugar tones.
